The stretch problem affects not only mature women. It is a threat to the skin and the overall contour of the body, and you undoubtedly want to keep them in perfect condition as long as possible. Many young girls, and even boys, face this unpleasant cosmetic defect. Stretch marks revert to the time when bone growth outstrips that of muscle and skin. They reflect on both vision and self-esteem.
Scars appear at a sharp load of the skin, which can be resulted from both growth and physical exercise. Many women receive stretch marks during pregnancy. It is known that our skin consists of three layers – subcutaneous, epidermis and derma. The stratum is the result of a process in the dermis, the middle layer. If the dermis has been stretched for prolonged periods, the connective fibers are broken and the skin loses its elasticity. Stretch marks obtained during pregnancy may be hereditary. Read these lines carefully if your mother has similar scars. Other possible causes of stretch marks are obesity, hormonal imbalance or irrational nutrition.
Fresh scars havea red color that fades over time.
To reduce the stretch marks that have already appeared and prevent the formation of others in the future, you must adhere to several rules:
∙ Eat products rich in vitamin A, E and C.
- After showering, rub oily vitamin E solution on the skin.
- Include more products containing fatty acids in your menu. These are vegetables, vegetable oils, fish.
∙ Hydrate your skin. The retinol component contained in special cosmetic products has a fantastic moisturizing effect.
- Use regular body cream containing cocoa butter.
- Fatty acids are incredibly effective in fighting stretch marks. They stimulate regeneration and moisturize the skin.
∙ For the worst case, laser treatment will help.
